Maqta Gateway unveiled at GITEX Technology Week, on the 14th of October 2018, that it began implementing the first international blockchain pilot testing project in partnership with the Port of Antwerp, Belgium, becoming the first Abu Dhabi entity to implement a blockchain pilot project internationally, with the aim to deliver fast, reliable, and secure trade transactions through rigorous development and testing programs.

أعلنت “بوابة المقطع ذ م م”، التابعة لـ “موانئ أبوظبي”، خلال مشاركتها في فعاليات أسبوع جيتكس للتقنية، في 14 أكتوبر 2018، عن بدء تنفيذ المشروع التجريبي الدولي الأول في مجال تقنية "البلوك تشين" بالشراكة مع ميناء أنتويرب في بلجيكا، لتبادل الخبرات وتشجيع الابتكارات المشتركة، ما يجعلها أول جهة محلية في إمارة أبوظبي تقوم بتنفيذ تنفيذ أول مشروع تطبيقي دولي من نوعه ينطلق من أبوظبي.
